World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of items is a crucial element of enhancing your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enchantments.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. The Blacksmith can also sell them to you.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When an item is upgraded, it is granted an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon may also gain a number of upgrade components, which provide additional effects or attributes and some even have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, or gathering tools, and they generally require that the equipment has an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be upgraded however the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be used at once, and their effects are based on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon can cause.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and finally those secondary stats required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. Most armor will upgrade to the next level following an upgrade. This can be done for any type of armor, but certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by just a little. However, some upgrade components can give significant improvements in defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can prove beneficial in combat. For item upgrader can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that are useful, such as decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require multiple attempts, based on the type. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can upgrade a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to what many believe, armor is not useless in The Division 2. The reality is that certain armors have very significant enhancements to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them extremely useful for certain builds. There are many other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
When you put a potion into a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to get more tiers of potency.
The potions also gain an individual color, which can be set by the player using the /give. The color affects the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions, as well as awkward potions, now have a new texture when they are brewed. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness are now available. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be brewed by using Dragon breath or splash potions. Also included is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Issues relating to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace or even a tiny flag used to mark a boat's lateen yard. It can also be a gilded trinket that is connected to the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. At present it makes all kinds of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor a Y% chance to have an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost an amount of energy.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of generating grass and water. At its current level this trinket will make X% of the floors become filled with water or grass however it won't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to aid in the elimination of hazards.
This item, which appears like eyes of a newt is believed to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond simply decreasing your field of view. At the moment, this trinket boosts the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and grants mind eyesight on enemies within Y tiles. This trinket is not stacked with the Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you have a trinket which needs to be upgraded put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will affect the trinket which is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as many times as you'd like but it will always have the same effect.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
